过去进行时

过去进行时是我们八下的重要语法点，是我们初中八大时态之一，也是之后诊断的重要语法点，是一定要掌握得哦！下面我们来一起看一下对于过去进行时，我们需要掌握哪些内容呢？

1. 基本结构

  肯定句： was / were + doing  例句：The girl was go shopping.

  否定形式：was /were + not + doing  例句：He was not working.

  一般疑问句：was/were …..+ doing？例句：Were you playing basketball then?

特殊疑问：what were/was+ 主语+ doing ?   例句：What were you doing at nine o’clock?

2. 基本用法

  ①表示在过去某时刻正在进行的动作，常与then; at that moment; at ten o’clock last night; at this time yesterday等连用。

  例句：At this moment yesterday, I was packing for camp. 

When I came to see her last time, she was writing an article.

②表示过去某阶段一直正在做的事情，常与时间状语at that time; last night; last winter等。

例句：It came at about 6:30 this morning. I was reading the newspaper then.

③注意在含when 和while 引导的时间状语从句的主从复合句中过去进行时的运用：

A was doing A when B came in.

   When/While A was doing sth. B came in.

A was doing A while B was doing B.

注意：when 引导延续性动词与非延续性动词均可，而while 仅引导非延续性动词并且与进行时连用。

词组辨析

1.get married 

  (1) get married意为“结婚”。若问某人是否结婚，而不涉及结婚的对象，可用be / get married的形式，相当于系表结构。

   (2) be / get married to sb. 意为“与某人结婚”。例如： Alice was married to a doctor last month. 

 【拓展】 

   marry既可用作及物动词，也可用作不及物动词，意为“结婚；嫁；娶；与.....结婚等”。常见用法如下：

 ①marry sb.意为“与.....结婚”。

例如： John married Mary last week. 

②marry sb. to sb.意为“把某人嫁给某人”。例如：     

例如：She married her daughter to a businessman.  

2. 关于made的短语：

①be made of 意为“由.......制成”，强调从制成品中仍可以看出原材料。  

②be made from意为“用......制成”，强调从制成品中看不出原材料。   

③ be made in 意为“由„„制造（生产）”，强调生产地点，in后只接地点的名词。   

④be made up of 意为“由.....组成”或“由....构成”， 强调由多种成分、团体、成员或单位等组成或构成。 

  例句：Our class is made up of twenty-eight girls and sixteen boys.  

⑤be made into意为“把....制成...”，注意表示原材料的词作句子的主语，表示制成品的词作介词into的宾语。 

例句： Glass can be made into all kinds of beautiful things. 玻璃可以制成各种各样漂亮的物品。
